I have been 25 for all of 41 minutes and had a blog for about an hour and here I am again!
Well just here to say a few things I've learned and believe in during my 25 years of life.
- Follow your passions. Money, though nice, is NOT what should drive us. It annoys me to no end when people insist on doing some sort of fancy job simply because they want money when their true passion lies in something else which they will never have time for. If all people were more kind and giving I don't think this would be an issue!
- Have faith. Whatever/Whomever you believe in. Just have faith that during the difficult times, things will work out. It doesn't mean to rest an your laurels though folks! To make a difference you have to make an effort! However, the difficult times build character....so it's a blessing in disguise when your car breaks down and you end up becoming friends with a coworker because you have to bum a ride or you have a cold and Kleenex and Cold Eeze stock goes through the roof.
- Be kind. You never know whose life (this includes plants and animals) you can change/touch/destroy with your actions and words.
- Call home. Your parents really do care and they are only on the earth for so long so indulge them in a convo at least once a week, even if it's about how you messed up the laundry or dodging your mother's questions on why you're not married yet.
- Take care of yourself. Try to eat well, exercise, but most imporantly give yourself time to reflect, unwind, catch up with pals etc. Mental health is just as important as physical health and often overlooked. Sometimes natural remedies are a healthier and better option than medications.
